Future of the Fashion Weeks, Future of the Fashion System an event organized in collaboration with London College of Fashion, Parsons NY, Institut Francais de La Mode. The second event of the four colloquium platform will take place in Milan,Domus Academy, on February the 15th from 10.00 to 20.00. Round tables with prestigious actors of the fashion scene, exhibitions, invited academics and researcher from different countries to investigate the Fashion Future.
Elisha is a photographer, now mainly working as a director in London where she moved in 2005. She’s half german and half american. Elisha studied photography in Berlin then, after graduating, she worked as a freelance photographer and contributor for several international fashion magazines. Parallel to her career as a photographer, Elisha started experimenting with moving image, and in 2009 she crossed over into the world of fashion films and music videos. Elisha was named one of the Top Ten Fashion Filmmakers of 2010 by leading trend-analyst WGSN, and her film “Sunshowers” was named Fashion Film of the Season by Business of Fashion. As if that wasn’t enough, her latest short film “I Want Muscle” recently won the Grand Prix in the prestigious ASVOFF competition at Paris Fashion Week. Discover more after the break!
Galleria Patricia Armocida presents “Grasswidow”, the second solo show by Bianca Casady, the eccentric and trasversal American poetess and one-half of the duo Cocorosie. The artist returns, three years after her last exhibit, with fifty works including, drawings, collages, photographs, and a site specific video installation. Private views by invitation only on February 6th at 7:00 pm.
