After her great self-titled debut in 2012 California singer/songwriter Jessica Pratt released her new album on January 27th “On Your Own Love Again” via Drag City. She recorded the LP at home over the past two years. It was mixed in collaboration with Will Canzoneri. “Back, Baby” is the first single off Jessica’s new record, stream it below.
Amanda Manitach is an artist, curator at Seattle University’s Hedreen Gallery, visual arts editor at City Arts Magazine, and co-founder (with D.K. Pan) at TMRW PARTY, a studio in the Pike/Pine corridor of Seattle’s Capitol Hill, a neighborhood dedicated to anchoring, catalyzing and sustaining a spectrum of arts-related events. Her works span through many different media, focusing on the human body — particularly the female body — and how this is continually being reimagined and rewritten via visual culture and visual cliché of the era.
