Becky Baier is a Freelance Illustrator, Designer and Mural Artist living in Pewsey, a quaint little village one hour from London. She completed a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Trowbridge College landing her a place on the Illustration course at Brighton University, where she graduated in 2013 and received a BA (hons) degree with a specialisation in Illustration. She recently took part to Redbull’s Collectives exhibitions, teaming up with interactive designer Juan Hurle and Combining 3D cameras and face tracking technologies with the more traditional mediums of collage and illustration. Fashion Photography Next Part 2 is opening this thursday at Fashion Space Gallery, a group exhibition curated by Magdalene Keaney exploring ideas and themes found in contemporary image-making and photography. Part 1 took on the themes of Materiality and Play, while Part 2 will focus on two of the most prevalent approaches in contemporary fashion photography – Artifice and Authenticity. The exhibition will feature exceptional work from Julia Hetta, Robi Rodriguez, and Hanna Putz among others and is accompanied by a book published by Thames and Hudson. More images after the break.
