Six years on from her debut movie Me and You and Everyone We Know, Miranda July is back with The Future — a film which looks like it surely stick with her eccentric style. The Future stars Miranda July herself, Hamish Linklater and David Warshofsky and is about a thirty-something couple who, on deciding to adopt a stray cat, change their perspective on life, literally altering the course of time and testing their faith in each other and themselves. The film premiered at this year’s Sundance and will be on general release from July 29th, 2011.
